Therastra - setting intro
25.000 years have passed since the Old World was ravaged by the Cataclysm, the Final Sundering, when thousands screamed and died drowned in the floods or consumed by the living flame. It was that day that the Old World came to an end.
Horrified by this perspective the Goddess of Earth took those she could save, breaking free of the grasp of the Unspoken Ones and gave us all a new home. At the last moments the Elementals realized what they had done, they realized and their ancient hearts felt sorrow. A new World was created for those who were save in time, a world somewhat similar to the old one, hidden from the Unspoken Ones and the Burning Shadow.
Here the Children of the Four Winds, the Sons and Daughters of stone, the children of sun and moon found a new home, slowly adapting to their new living conditions. Old ways forgotten, new discovered, the story of Therastra will be told soon.
As Fire and Water, Wind and Rock raged across the old world, the Unspoken Ones' evil corrupting the ancestors, the Goddess Therazane, known as the Stone Mother along with Ignis, son of the Firelord, Jaffar, Prince of Storms and the Tide Hunter saved several thousand mortals from each race in the Old World, realizing their mistakes. The Great Elemental Lords convened deep within the Astral Plane and resolved to save the races they had undone in their error.
From Therazane's own flesh the crust of the world was made with valleys, plains, mountains, canyons and deep trenches, yet the empty stone floated in the great beyond, close to Therazane's own domain. It was then when Jaffar's storms surrounded the nascent world, rich clouds dropping vitalizing rain onto its surface. Lightning flashed, thunder boomed an in this primeval landscape and water rushed to fill the ancient basins, riverbeds, forming Oceans, lakes and rivers. Finally at the heart of the world the great flame furnace ignited, under Ignis command and volcanoes spewed ash and smoke into the air.
Here the children of the Old World were brought, along with the Great Guardians and thousands of animals and plants, saved from certain extinction.
An old world ends, another begins!
